Not sure how it happened this fast but away we go!
I started the year by freaking out about the academic side of Big Sisters education and then got a chance to talk to some friends about their kids' school experiences and was completely put at ease. I also had a new friend lend me a book that basically said its okay to lay off, you're actually not adding anything to the equation. So I did and we're all doing much better and having a lot more fun. She's also finally interested in writing and drawing.
Hopscotch math, numbers 0-100.
New for this year are soccer, piano and Hula, which are all going well. She's continuing with swimming, ballet and we'll throw some academic stuff in there too.
Little Sister is also starting to shine. She knows her letters and their sounds and is counting.
The Soccer Sisters are quite a pair!
